Beautiful MisChler Park
Mischler Park is located within the village. It is a popular location for community activities and family reunions. To reserve the park shelter for family and organizational functions, call 309-447-6749.
The park is one full block in size and is located on Main Street. Restrooms are available. Park hours are from sunrise to 9:00 p.m.
Over many years, the Village of Deer Creek has reforested Mischler Park through its Trees: Today & Tomorrow project. Come to Mischler Park at the corner of Park Ave. and Main Street to see a variety of trees native to Central Illinois.
In 2022, the village installed a splash pad to help beat the summer heat. It has been quite a hit for DC residents and neighboring communities too! Splash pad hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
