Policy for use of the Deer Creek Community Center
Application requirements:
- Completed applications and security deposits must be received at the Deer Creek village office in order to reserve your desired event date. Date your deposit check for the date of your event.
- Rental fees will be due 30 days prior to your event. This is a nonrefundable fee.
Fees:
- Residence within Deer Creek Township: $50.00 per event refundable security deposit
- Residence outside of Deer Creek Township: $100.00 per event nonrefundable fee with a $50.00 refundable security deposit.
- If event requires more than 1 day of use, each day will be considered a separate event and fees will be collected accordingly.
Opening and closing the building for each event:
- The building will be opened by a police officer or board member. No keys will be given out.
- The party renting the building will be responsible for locking the door after their event.
Hours of use:
- All events are to be conducted between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight, with all clean up finished by 1:00am.
Alcohol Use:
- Use of alcoholic beverages is allowed (NOT for sale) at the center but must be noted on the application. All beverages must be consumed inside the facility. No alcoholic beverages shall be served to any persons under 21 years of age.
Unallowed uses of the building:
- Not for commercial use. No craft shows or selling of food items or any items for profit.
- Kitchen is non-commercial. The kitchen is not to be used for preservation of foods or preparation of foods for large events.
Clean up and condition of building after use:
- All personal items must be removed from the facility following your event. Items remaining will be subject to disposal.
- Any cleaning required or damages done by renter are subject to additional fees.
- Renter must complete and sign "Community Center Cleaning Checklist" after event is completed. This form will be left in the kitchen prior to your event date.
